Person-centred systems

because health and care organisations must reflect on the experiences of people using and delivering services and treat them as opportunities to learn and improve what they do

When experiences are poor in health and care, reviews consistently show the need for services to listen to patients, and for health and care workers to be able to reflect and learn.

Our Experiences of Care  programme puts the patient at the centre of care and invites care teams to open themselves up to being challenged about how they work. Through our Schwartz Rounds work we champion organisational cultures that enable reflective practice, openness, transparency and communication. Together these make health and care more human.
