Jessie Cunnett stepping down as Chief Executive
14 June 2024
We’re sorry to announce that Jessie Cunnett has chosen to step down as Chief Executive Officer at the end of June.
Since joining the Point of Care Foundation she has launched exciting work with National Voices and the Care Quality Commission on tackling health inequalities. She has also overseen changes to the organisation’s back-office systems and welcomed several new team members. All the Point of Care team wish Jessie well for the future.
Chair of the board, Richard Smith, said: “We are grateful for all that Jessie has done for the Point of Care, and we’re sorry to see her go. She has been important in moving us forward with our mission of humanising care. We wish her all the best.”
Jessie Cunnett added: “The Point of Care has an important vision to radically improve the way we care and are cared for and a mission to achieve this by humanising health and social care. Never has this felt more important. I wish the organisation, and all involved the very best in pursuit of this goal.”
The board are currently working to find new leadership for the organisation, and we will be making more announcements in due course.
